Yesterday, Ms. Pittman's class learned how to keep score in bowling and find their average!



Students in Ms. Baker's and Ms. Notch's classes did some awesome activities at summer school! Some of them included creating tea dyed paper, making butter, and braiding coasters!









CVMS (4th-8th Grade) Summer School Parents and Guardians,
Today, a letter was sent home with each student stating their incentive amount for their attendance at summer school. The letter looks like the one below. If you have any questions, please call the main office at CVMS by Monday, June 26th at 816-882-1041.


Our students had a BLAST at the rocket launch today! At the dance party, we received over 200 donations for the Cameron Food Pantry! It was awesome to see our students have fun and give back to the community!





CVMS (4th-8th Grade) Summer School Parents: Today, June 21st, the CVMS Summer School Rocket Launch will take place at the Cameron Memorial Airport starting at 8am. We recommend students bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a towel to sit on. Following the rocket launch, students will take part in the Summer School Dance Party. Students must bring at least one canned or dry good item to participate in the dance. All proceeds will be donated to the Cameron Food Pantry.

Tomorrow, June 14th is Laser Tag Day for CVMS Summer School (4th-8th grade students). Please send students to school with tennis shoes and athletic clothing.


Students in Ms. Kemper's class did a cookie lab yesterday! Students had to practice making predictions and observations on whether cookies would sink or float.

Today, June 9th, will be our Water Play Day. Please send students to school with swimsuits and appropriate footwear that can easily be slid on and off. The kids will be getting very wet during this event, so they will need to bring a towel, a change of clothes, and sunscreen.

Today, Ms. Notch's students each created their own quilt! What a great way to practice drawing shapes and calculating perimeter and area!





In Ms. Janovec's class, students created chalk sketches of the setting of their short story. The story takes place on Venus and is in constant rain.
