Due to delayed processing and shipping in the food industry, there will likely be days in the future when we offer breakfast and lunch meals that are different than what is listed on the scheduled food service menu. Rest assured that all meals offered will be tasty and meet all nutritional requirements. Efforts will be made to notify parents of menu changes when possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Join us in celebration of Homecoming 2021! Go Dragons!

Good morning, PV Parents! We are excited to get library books back in our students' hands! It's crucial for students to practice their reading at home; reading your child's library book with them or having them read it to you multiple times is a great way to build fluent readers! If your child is in first and second grade, we require them to read their library book at least 3 times before taking an AR quiz over it on the computer.
To our first and second grade parents (First graders will not begin testing until October), we are excited to announce that once again this year, students will be able to take AR quizzes at home! Each student will have a new goal for the year and that will be determined by their STAR test score. Throughout the year, students will be rewarded for their progress toward their goal and when they meet their goal! Your child will be bringing home the following letter with information to help you with the at home testing process! Please also review the AR Code of Conduct you'll see coming home in your child's backpack and return it signed as soon as possible.
We also have a school-wide book goal to meet! Our goal is to read 44,000 books! We know we can do this, but we need your help! We get our book totals using the reading logs that will be sent home and AR quizzes taken and passed.
Let the fun continue with building great readers! Thank you, Parkview friends and family!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Cayla Riley

PV Families: Tomorrow is our first day of school! Please note the following information to ensure a great start to the year:
*Parents may walk their children to class door the first week of school. One parent per child. Doors open at 7:15 am.
*If your child is a bus rider or if you are not able to walk them to class, please write their name and teacher's name on a piece of masking tape and place it on the front of your child's shirt. Also please write their full name on the inside of their backpack. These actions ensure we are quickly able to identify your child and get them promptly to class.
*All buses require masks. Masks at school are recommended, but not required at this time. Please make the decision that is appropriate for your family.
*We will dismiss ten minutes early the first week of school to allow us extra time to get everyone dismissed accurately and safely. Early buses for students with special needs will dismiss at 2:20 in the West Lot; car riders at 2:30 on the playground; bus riders at 2:35. If you are picking your child up, please plan to be parked in the softball field parking lot by 2:25 and don't forget your car rider tag or driver's license. Please be patient and park respectfully as we anticipate large numbers of car riders this year.
Thank you in advance for your support! We look forward to a great year with our Lil' Dragons!

We are looking to add Paraprofessionals to our team!
