The CVMS Academic Team came off a double win against Hamilton last night to compete against Braymer and Maysville tonight. B Team lost to Braymer by just one question and A Team got a win against Maysville. Great job Dragons!!

Following a couple spring-like days, we are reminded that it is still winter, and winter weather can arrive at any time. Though we have not taken advantage of a Late Start option for some time, the Cameron R-I School District would like to inform everyone that, should conditions allow, a 2-hour Late Start protocol could be utilized in the future. Ahead of any potential need, we'd like to take the opportunity to let you know what a 2-hour Late Start would look like. This is NOT a notice of a Late Start, but rather a communication to guide us should the need arise. Please review the attached memorandum for full details.

I wanted to make a correction on the days weight will be offered to CVMS students after school. Coach Bell will be offering it to MS students after school weights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting the week of 1/21.
Coach Bell is offering a CVMS weights program to ALL 7th and 8th graders starting Monday January 20th after school from 3:15 till roughly 4:30. We are going to lift on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with the last day being Friday February 21st.
Academic Team tryouts are rescheduled for Tuesday, January 14th. Please contact Mrs. Zubeck or Mrs. Crowley with any questions.
