Monday May 1st Mr. Fisher was surprised by the students and staff at CVMS for being selected as the Northwest Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals assistant principal of the year. This is a tremendous honor and well deserved after 8 years of service as the assistant principal at CVMS. Mr. Fisher has been a guiding light during COVID and the development of restorative practices. He works tirelessly to build relationships with students and staff an brings leadership and vision to his position.
Mr. Stickel was also surprised on with an award on this day he was chosen as the Northwest Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals middle school principal of the year. This was an honor that truly belongs to the staff and students at CVMS who have worked hard to get 1% better every single day. What makes this award so special for Mr. Stickel is that he gets to share this day with Mr. Fisher who has been so welcoming and worked so make his move to Cameron a successful one.
